Tomb Builders is a family-friendly set-collection card game where 2–4 players race to fill a pharaoh’s burial chamber with treasures before unpredictable sandstorms seal each type away for good. Collect matching sets of gold, jewels, pottery, scrolls, and amulets — then entomb them at just the right moment to lock in your score.
Every turn presents a simple choice: explore the market for new treasure cards, entomb a set you’ve been building, or swap out a dead hand for fresh draws. But the tension is real — five Sandstorm cards are shuffled into the bottom half of the deck, and when one flips, that treasure type scores immediately for everyone. Bigger sets earn dramatically more points, and the player with the largest collection of each type claims the Pharaoh’s Favour bonus.
The push-your-luck decision is constant: do you hold out for a fourth piece of gold and risk the sandstorm burying it, or lock in your pair now and move on? Games play in 15–25 minutes with almost no downtime, making it easy to teach, quick to replay, and impossible to play just once.
